Summary

Muhammad Farasat Abbas received his M.S. and Ph.D degrees in electrical engineering from Xián Jiaotong University (XJTU), China in July 2015 and July 2021, respectively. He is currently working as assistant professor in the electrical power engineering department of U.S.-Pak Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCAS-E) at National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan. He is associated with High Voltage Lab at NUST, and his main research interests are partial discharge testing, measurement, and simulation, streamer discharge initiation mechanisms, low temperature discharge plasma simulation and power system protection.
