Summary
Qazi Shahzad Ali did B.Sc. Engineering in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering and M.Sc. Engineering in Mechanical Design Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore in 2006 and 2014, respectively. He secured a KNU Scholarship and completed Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the Kyungpook National University (KNU), Daegu, South Korea in 2022. He has worked as Process Engineer in the Manufacturing Department of Sanpak Engineering Industries Kasur between 2006 and 2009. He has worked as a faculty member at the University of Gujrat (UOG) Gujrat from 2009 to 2017. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor of Thermal Energy Engineering (TEE) at the U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCAS-E) at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Islamabad. His areas of research interests include airborne wind energy, aerodynamics of ducted wind turbines, blade design, wind harvesting technologies, numerical modeling, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), performance analysis and fluid-structure interaction (FSI).
