Ghulam Ali

HoD Research
Summary

Dr. Ghulam Ali is currently involved in teaching and research activities to graduate students at the NUST. He teaches materials related courses for energy applications. He has several international/national projects related to the development of electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries and sodium-ion batteries. Graduate students and research assistants are actively working on these projects. His group has 11 US/Korean patents and over 130 research articles in high impact factor journals with cumulative impact factor of >1100, H-index of 34, and citations of >4300. Dr. Ghulam Ali has been awarded a Gold medal from the Pakistan Academy of Sciences 2022, NUST University Best Researcher 2022 award, Best Researcher of USPCAS-E NUST 2021 award, KIST Excellent Researcher 2016 award, and UST Excellent Award 2016.
